Dr. Russell A. Leve - B.Sc., D.D.S., Ed. M, Periodontist
Dr. Leve received his dental degree from McGill University. He continued his training at Temple University in Philadelphia receiving a certificate in Periodontics and a Masters in Education.
During his stay in Philadelphia, Dr. Leve held appointments at Albert Einstein Hospital as well as Assistant Professor at Temple University School of Dentistry.
In Toronto, Dr. Leve has served on the Staff of Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care and as Head of Periodontics at Mount Sinai Hospital. He taught at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in both the undergraduate and the graduate programs in periodontics.
Dr. Leve is a past president of the Ontario Society of Periodontics and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity Toronto chapter.
Dr. Leve is married and has two children. He enjoys sailing, jogging and cycling.
We will give you prescriptions for post-operative medications.
We advise that patients go home after this procedure. Most people go back to work the next day.
