Dr. Russell A. Leve - B.Sc., D.D.S., Ed. M, Periodontist - Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Leve received his dental degree from McGill University in 1971. He continued his training at Temple University in Philadelphia receiving a certificate in Periodontics in 1973 and a Masters in Education in 1974.
During his stay in Philadelphia, Dr. Leve held appointments at Albert Einstein Hospital as well as Assistant Professor at Temple University School of Dentistry.
In Toronto, Dr. Leve has served on the Staff of Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care and as Head of Periodontics at Mount Sinai Hospital from 1974 to 1985. He taught at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry from 1974 to 1994 in both the undergraduate and the graduate programs in periodontics.
Dr. Leve is a past president of the Ontario Society of Periodontics and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity Toronto chapter.
Dr. Leve is married and has two children. He enjoys sailing, jogging and cycling.
