Dr. Taub is a native Torontonian and a graduate of the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto. He received his postdoctoral training at Boston University where he received his Diploma in Periodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists (Canada), and was their Chief Examiner in Periodontics for several years.
Dr. Taub is a Past-President of the Ontario Society of Periodontists, the Canadian Dental Protective Association, and the Alpha Omega Fraternity. He has been an Associate in Dentistry at the University of Toronto, teaching Periodontics to both undergraduate and graduate dental students. He was a contributor to the text “Current Treatment in Dental Practice”. He has been associated with the Doctor’s Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital in a teaching capacity. He has lectured to the Toronto Academy of Dentistry, Component Societies of The Ontario Dental Association, Alpha Omega Fraternity and in short courses at the University of Toronto. Dr. Taub has had a special interest in implant surgery since 1991, and is currently using digital impressions coupled with computer guidance techniques for difficult cases.
